I hope I don't sound crazy, but I have been looking for this for more than 10 years at this point. I'm almost certain, when I was a kid, back around 2008-2012, there used to be this one website that may or may not have been made by the Bronx Zoo. I can't find the name of it, but the closest thing I can get to a name would be "Bronx Zoo Map Maker." (Probably not the correct name) It must've been marketed towards kids then, since from what I remember, animal noises would sound from the website along with sound effects while clicking. It was a map of the Bronx Zoo, with icons of each animal that you can click on. I honestly don't remember exactly how it works, but I think after you click the main animals you want to see, it will give you the map, with a route to take around the zoo, which was basically a line on the pathways with either arrows directing you, or numbers on the icons on which to visit. If anybody has any idea what this website was, since it is no longer running, let me know; this has sort of bothered me for years.
