Hoping to make a trip soon and will try to report on where the salamanders are if I happen to stop by the Swamp.

Just a few weeks after the arrival of a new male red panda from Zoo Boise, female red panda Beatrix has died. She was euthanized at the beginning of the month.

The Chinese giant salamander exhibit is next to the tokay gecko exhibit. The glass is in place but the exhibit is blocked by cardboard.

Yes, they are on exhibit in Habitat Africa: The Forest!
Also a question for @The Speeding Carnotaurus are the Brazilian tapirs and Geoffroy’s marmosets on exhibit yet?
Brazilian tapirs? What a treat to see. Where did they get them from?
A pair arrived last fall from a breeding center in Florida.

WHAT is the issue with Brookfield's Red Pandas?!?!?
I'll add some pictures shortly, but in news from my visit today:
- The lowland/Brazilian tapirs were on exhibit today and were very active;
- Two Black Crested Mangabeys are now on exhibit in Ramar's former exhibit in Tropic World,
- This happened a few weeks ago but went unreported here: the Laughing Kookaburras have moved to the former finch exhibit in Australia House, while the finches have moved to an off exhibit space in Tropic World.
What about the kookaburra exhibit?
It's currently empty. I'm personally hoping for Australian owls.
Also, two addaxes have been moved from Hoofed Animals to Habitat Africa! The Savanna, to the former waterbuck/ostrich/warthog habitat.
