I am excited and agree with this policy line though. Esp. with carnivores and first few litters it is better to have them see thru the first few critical months! I have seen and heard too many cases where they even before a birth announced and set up cameras only for the cubs never to appear, stillbirths, birth complications or even the female not making it in a difficult birth. So, I can really see why ...!
For what it is worth: Is it just me ..., or is it that in the last year or so quite a few new births have been announced for Amur leopard in the US / AZA SSP camp (and even transfers overseas to set up new breeding pairs in the US)?
