I am very pleased with this decision. The Seneca Park Zoo has a larger exhibit with many hiding spots for these wolves. The size of Buffalo's old exhibit is much better suited for an Arctic fox. However, with the moderations, I hope they include areas the fox can hide.
 
When announced a couple days ago that the zoo would hold a press conference regarding changes with a popular animal, I was really hoping the zoo finally came to its senses and would phase out their elephants. Nope. Just an official confirmation of something visitors have suspected for the past couple of weeks. However, I am glad one of the cubs survived and I'm hopeful the other adult female, Lusaka, is pregnant as well.
 
According to the zoo's facebook, their two southern tamanduas are finally on exhibit in the former tamandua/current white face saki monkey exhibit in Rainforest Falls. They have been off exhibit since they arrived a few years ago so I think it's exciting to finally see them.

Don't know. Maybe? There are some around in primate labs, so...

I saw an article that said that the zoo they are going to has asked not to be named until the macaques getting adjusted there. I am assuming they went with red pandas because it's fits in the endangered section of the zoo and when the Asia section is built, they will be relocated there.

In other news, the zoo is having a naming contest for one of it's lion cubs and all cubs will be out with the adults on this Saturday.
