Have you seen the rays? The first I went this year the water was drained and when I went last time, everyone was there, but I didn't see the rays.
 
I hope Kali stays long-term in Buffalo. The Zoo has proven they can get the support they need, when needed. I would dislike if he ended up in Saint Louis' new exhibit. It will be too small, and they really do not have the space (at least shown in the plans), to have the flexibility for the bears. Whereas, Buffalo has two yards for bears to rotate, along with a holding yard and building.
 
I'm really excited and hope for the best with their design. Using more natural rock and having an Inuit theme opposed to the basic fake rock with ice caps is promising in my book!
 
I am getting annoyed by reading articles saying, "We hope for cubs soon from these two!" These two are already cubs so why not just enjoy what you have? It's going to be several years until they're both sexually mature and the SSP may not pair them together.
 
I think they mixed up the bears. This looks more like their former Grizzly Bear, Fred.
 
I thought it looked like a grizzly but I just posted what the story said. Good to know Im not always wrong in my guesses.
