Last night over the broadcasting for zoo staff Burgers' Zoo has announced that the ocean staff had to say goodbye to their old toaster. The staff mentioned that they recently accuired a new toaster for breeding purposes but this had no use as the male died. He had the age of 10.
The coffee machine is soon to be send out to the graveyard and to be replaced by a brand new one.

Ocean Staff has mentioned to be very happy with the changes.

Sad to see a species like this go.

The new lemur and coati/squirrel monkey exhibits will be opened the 18th of april 15.00. They told this on instagram

However visitors will be able to enter that area at 16:00. The first hour is for staff and press only.

The new ZieZoo-magazine mentioned the coati ladies will be having company of (only) 10 peruvian squirrelmonkey males.
Also the ZieZoo mentioned that the lemurs are only males. For 'fan-favourites' it is kind of weird that they do not have any breedingpairs. As babies of these species would bring in even more people.

Volunteers in the Mangrove confirmed the release of the Yellow-headed Gecko and the Allison's Anole in the Mangrove. Exact amounts are not known but I believe each species group can be counted on two hands

Are there projects, plan in pdf on desert arizona, and mangrove ?

This is the concept art of the mangrove, which is really accurate to what it actually became.

And the map of the desert that is in the old parkguide. (from internet as I was too lazy to get mine)

Sadly not in PDF but maybe this helps!

Hi zoochaters, I could not find any discution, about it but, is the Blue Duiker back in Burgers from Flamingo park ?

I don't think they have left at all (yet)

they are actually gone to flamingopark.

Lintworm is correct and Timmiegun is incorrect, as far as this matter goes - when I visited Flamingo Land at the back end of 2018, after they allegedly received the Blue Duiker from Burgers, I was informed that they had not yet arrived and that Burgers had gone silent on when they could be expected.... much to my frustration given the fact the species had been a no-show when I visited Burgers in early 2018 :P

Well I am not sure where they went in that case as they are not at our place.
Could maybe ask around a bit
