Five new chimpanzees have arrived, joining Cookie and Sally, but their names and places they came from have not been announced yet.
According to the population thread, their names are Ike, Wendy, Finn, Pat, and Echo. I will find out about where they are from when I visit next week.

Busch Gardens Tampa now holds 3.4 chimpanzees.

Visited park 2 days this week.

Lion(s) were a no show both days.

Learned that the Asian Elephants have to be managed as 2 groups, as 2 of the older cows both want to be dominant. Been an issue since Spike left and they decided to stop reintegration attempts for the well being and safety of the older girls.

They still talk about giraffes being reticulated species, education team on tour likely just uninformed when asked. I do wish they would not make things up though, it gets past most guests but irritates the ZooChat peeps. ;)

The 5 new chimps were out, did not see the 7 integrated yet either day.

The new gorilla troop looked well adjusted!
