Welcome the least taxonomically correct thread ever posted to ZooChat! :p I had to combine these all because had only a handful of species each and didn't really fit as their own thread.

Here I have attempted to make a complete list of Otidiformes, Podicipediformes, Eurypygiformes, Gaviiformes, Coliiformes, Trogoniformes, and Cariamiformes present in American and Canadian collections. Only information 2018 or newer was used. Information on missing holders or species, as well as information on subspecies or populations is welcomed.

Apparently Pinola Conservancy has at least one Kagu now, whether any of the four listed no longer hold them I don't know.

For the San Diego inquiries, Sunbitterns are kept in the Parker Aviary. Speckled Mousebirds I believe are kept near the Bonobos or the small aviary by the East African Kopje. And the Green Backed Trogons in the Hummingbird Habitat :)
 
I wish the Bengal Florican, Great Bustard, and Great Grebe were in AZA collections. The Bengal Florican could definitely benefit from an ex-situ SSP. Kagu's are awesome and saw one up close in the Wings of Asia aviary at Zoo Miami.
