Pay, you're funny. An extinct in the wild species, who's entire population has been tightly contained within government owned and AZA zoological breeding programs? You must be taking some sort of psychoactive's if you think there are Micronesian kingfishers in private hands! Also Calgary doesn't hold the species, there are none in Canada. They've simply done a number of avian reintroductions in the past, and are providing guidance and expertise for the US and Guam bred birds being prepared for release in the islands (which haven't even been released yet, as an aside). The zoo has been reintroducing guam kingfishers back to the wild.
Calgary Zoo bringing Guam kingfisher back from the brink of extinction
I presume Calgary is the only holder of this species in Canada, though their might be a few private collectors.
