According to this article there are 312 in the wild ( I would guess that does NOT
include hatched chicks so far this year)
https://www.nwpb.org/2019/04/07/new-plan-would-return-california-condors-to-northwest-skies/
Before the onset of antiscience we could get a reliable update every December
but now it is very hard to find population news. The last official update was December 2017
https://www.fws.gov/cno/es/calcondor/PDF_files/2017-CA-condor-population-status.pdf which showed 290 wild condors (along with 173 captivity).

Similar situation with whooping cranes where we formally could get updates twice yearly. But here is the latest on them

Still no official updates that I can find.
This article says there are more than 400 wild condors
California condors' numbers keep growing

but I think that is incorrect as the last official account had 290. The article says there are 90 wild condors in S. California which would be an increase
over 80 from the 2017 census. Which sounds more accurate.
Its weird how there seems to almost be a blackout on Condor news compared to prior to 2017.

An official update for April 2019. A 5 % increase since Dec 2017, does not include this years chicks

Condor Numbers as of April 2019
Total population 488
Captive population 176
Wild population 312
Arizona population 88
California population 188
Baja population 36
