Back in the early 2000's, Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland planned a massive, site-wide redevelopment in which the zoo would be separated into four themed areas: Rainforest, Grassland, Woodland and Ocean. It ultimately never happened, or at least not to the extent that was originally planned. You have a lot of rainforest themed exhibits in the same general area of the zoo, but the section isn't exactly rainforest themed itself.
I remember it was said the Grassland biome would have a full recreation of a Nepalese village, while the Ocean biome would have things like manatees and the Woodland biome would have elephants, none of these things ended up happening.
