So, I'm planning my OE at the moment (which is basically going to be my World Zoo Tour, but I'm going with a non-zoo person so I'm not allowed to call it that). Anyway, I don't want to take my big, clunky, heavy, old, stealable, digital SLR that isnt exactly subtle, especially at dinners, etc, and all the lens I need to photograph everything from massive landscapes to tiny spiders.
So I was thinking about getting a new camera, which is not too huge, but is high quality and versatile. I was really leaning towards the Canon G12, does anyone have any experience with this camera, and is it worth the money compared with the cheaper powershots?
