Ruperta, the last elephant in Venezuela has died. Chapultepec, Guadalajara and Morelia zoos in Mexico had offered to take her if would be possible to move her. Now it is too late.

Sorry to hear that. She might have found a good home at Africam, PUEBLA (note: breeding group African elephants) or - even better - Bioparque Estrella?
