He was banned by the Court from looking after(not that he did) the animals, whilst they were removed from the site. So he shouldn't have been in there in the first place, my last words to him 20 years ago was 'Karma' and he laughed in my face. He continues to think he's God and above everyone, perhaps now he will have learnt a lesson. What's happened to all of the domestic animals, surely the ban should cover them too?

All the report said, was a ban of animals indefinitely, so I would assume that would include domestic animals aswell.

A BBC report states the ban is only for 5 years so, God forbid, could he do this again? He also has to pay costs totalling up to £10,000

I would really hope that anyone with an ounce of sense or compassion would have cut ties with this abuser and would never let him have any of their animals in future.

Given his age the ban may outlast him.

About time this place was closed down , have reported this place for over 20 years thank goodness the animals have been rehomed to suitable facilities. The so call "dr" that run this so called sanctuary was a looney tune when I had dealings with him his narsacism was shocking. Sad outcome for the poor animals that were to ill to be rehomed but a life free of pain.

Sorry, maybe this isn't appropriate, but I find myself as devoid of compassion for the abuser as he clearly was to the poor cats under his warped ownership.

There has to be some culpability against the institutions that sent him their surplus to 'care' for, knowing what a crank he is.

How a sadistic madman ended up with some of the world's rarest cats, and ruined their lives, should be subject to an exposè.

Still seen no satisfying answer as to what has happened to the domestic cats under his abusive control.

The authorities were far too lenient IMO. A prison sentence should have been served. Being elderly and infirm is no excuse for callous abuse.

Absolutely.

Again, I’m amazed this wasn’t addressed more widely across the national media. Personally, I could barely find anything. Only now is more information becoming available but, clearly, his behaviour’s been suspect for 20+ years judging by some of the earlier entries on this forum (myself included).

The Big Cat Sanctuary have confirmed their final rescue from the site is now complete - a Eurasian Lynx.

Of note, a video posted on their YouTube channel would appear to show drone footage of the Cat Survival Trust before the rescue. Dump is putting it mildly.

Thank god , now I hope they bulldoze that place to the ground. A hell hole for the animals run by a narsacist "dr" who thought he was above everyone else . All I hope now is a this place is featured on a TV documentary showing its down fall and years of cruelty and miss management good riddens!

Nice to see the footage of Rhys the Lynx in his new home and as you say the drone shots don’t do his old one any favours at all.

Good to see the cats who could be rehomed saved. We can trust that those who couldn’t have been humanly destroyed. And that along with Terrence Moore’s conviction and animal ban is thankfully the final end of that place.
