In the same post they also bring up they got a new veterinarian.
I believe this new zoo with its steady increase in the number of animal species will develop into something really special.

On August 29th, the zoo announced that (0.0.4) meerkats were born "a few weeks ago".

Its a members only story, but the video appeared to show the circus was already keeping the lions in a huge enclosure. I wonder if CCZ is also taking on the monkeys?In todays Courier Mail, 6 Lions from Stardust Circus have been moved to the Central Coast zoo at Wyong. Two pics of them also appear in the paper.
I only saw the article in todays paper I never saw anything in regarding monkeys!

Oh cool thats a great mix for a paddock. (Just found out that Barbary Sheep are now tagged as a vulnerable species, had no idea).
Update regarding opening from their social media:
"The Central Coast Zoo section is still not open to the public yet, we were hoping for December but unsure how likely that will be at this stage! But the good news is: Amazement Farm and Fun Park is OPEN.... and when you visit Amazement Farm and Fun Park you get to ride the Maze Express Train Ride where you can see some of the Central Coast Zoo animals including the Lions, Camels, Ostrich, Barbary Sheep, Antelope and Deer!!
The other good news is - we are still offering behind the scenes VIP meerkat encounters to the guests of Amazement Farm and Fun Park... you can book these encounters on the day of your visit. We apologise for the delayed responses to peoples messages - we have been absolutely swamped - but this also humbles us so much to have so much support."

@WhistlingKite24 Wow Antelope, I'm guessing Fallow Deer and Red Deer for the 'Deer' but with the 'Antelope' I wonder what species, Blackbuck I'm guessing based on this map they just released on facebook an hour ago.

On November 17th, the zoo announced they have acquired a (0.0.1) rhinoceros iguana for the Christmas holiday period before going back to another zoo.
