Since this forum is dead, I have some more information.
I one of the warthogs ( I cant remember its name) has passed away in I believe somewhere in 2020
In the summer of 2021, two mongoose lemurs from St Louis were added.
The zoos two Tawney frogmouths were put back on display where the Kookaburra used to be.

Buster, a river otter has passed away. Most likely of old age.
One of the black handed spider monkeys, Zsa Zsa has passed away.

Could you provide a source for this please? I cant find anything relating to that on the zoos instagram,witch is where I got the news about the otter

To ansure your many year old question: One elephant passed away, and I know that its skull is behind the scenes in the "Zoolab" (Zoolab is the area where the ambasortor animals are kept) and the other elephant at the time, was transferred to Zoo Miami. I don't know where this elephant is as of 2022
