Chacoan Peccary in Captivity

The discussion in the Edinburgh thread made me wonder what their history in captivity is like.

As a species that is relatively new to science but is in at least a few zoos can anyone share any information about where they can be seen and how those collections acquired them?

Thank you

If I am correct San Deigo zoo were interested in the species some years ago but I am not sure if anything came of it?.

The breeding program was initiated by the San Diego Zoo, and begun at the Phoenix Zoo. They bred successfully there and some were then sent to San Diego, now Chacoan Peccaries are kept at Connecticut's Bearsley Zoo, Sequoia Park Zoo, Fresno Chaffee Zoo, Utah's Hogle Zoo, Los Angeles Zoo, Sunset Zoo, Phoenix Zoo, San Diego Zoo, Sedgwick County Zoo and St Louis Zoo. I would say the program is to a point where transferring some animals to Europe is in order.
