Taronga Zoo chameleons hatched

Veiled chameleons have been hatched in an Australian zoo for the first time at Taronga. There are four youngsters with another 4 eggs to hatch in a few weeks. According to ISIS, Taronga has just the one animal

It was covered on the ABC News tonight ... I think they are beautiful creatures.

from memory they only imported them a few years ago too....

the reptile park also imported veiled chameleons this year, plus cobras and solomon island skink which are endangered.
