That's good news are they in the large enclosure?

According to the video, as of today they were in the exhibit towards the bridge (one along from the yurt enclosure they were initially kept in)

Not the far one housing the adults males

I saw the cheetah cubs today - they looked fine and I saw no sign of a limp in either (although one didn't do a great deal of walking while I was watching). They were in the enclosure on the right of the bridge if you start from the lion/canal end.
Nothing else very new to report, except that I saw at least four lesser kudu beside the roan antelope. They are confined to the hard-standing at the moment and almost completely screened by hessian, except for a missing section viewable through the Stanley crane enclosure (as shown in the photo that Javan Rhino posted a couple of weeks ago).

They imported 2.3 kudu.

3 white-faced whistling duckings are in Tsavo aviary.

Two notes from today.

All signage has been removed from the inside of the Tsavo Rhino House. Also something is being constructed outside of Junes Pavilion.

The signage in Tsavo has been removed for a while as Sammy and Kitani were moved off-show and the new pair were moved on-show.

I didn't visit Tsavo house yesterday, but the construction between June's Pavilion and the Toilet block looks like a section of a canal to me - perhaps for a model narrowboat or has SMR twisted arms to get a new floral display?
The other work is on the Chinese aviaries (formerly the 'new' owl aviaries), they have new shelters down each side and the flights look as if they are being divided.

Just for the record: When I visited on 4th May, all the ID boards and educational signage (including the sign thing that the kids pressed and it made noises) had been removed from Tsavo indoors

On my visit 6th May the female that is in the right-hand side indoor area as you go into the building appears to me to be pregnant (may be old news) but in my opinion she looks like she could be pregnant. (I don't know her name). She may not even be in that enclosure now. Also the two that where in the left-hand side (1:1), he was showing an interest in her, a couple of attempts to cover but nothing to a great extent happening.

As for signs, cant say either way I’ve no real interest if they where there or not.

Ironically, that's what the signs are for. ;)

If some of the signage has names for ID purposes, then yes it would be useful, especially for me to identify the rhino and then say on here which individual it is that I think looks pregnant, so other visitors could make their opinion, hence me saying in my previous post the right hand side pen as you walk in to help ID the rhino.

However, as a talking point as to what date a particular sign has or has not been removed by the zoo then I really have no interest in that as a discussion, and this later point was what I was referring to when I said on the previous post I have no interest.

That should, I hope clear that up :).

If you are talking about the Rhinos then, I don't believe it's possible that Bashira is old enough to breed she's three soon*. Also the 'female' you suggest isn't a female ;)

* Bashira's three tomorrow :D.

I can honestly say I can identify a male and female rhino by looking at them and what was in those enclosures on that date was exactly what I listed above (read it again in case you mis-read). Chester do rotate their rhinos with regularity, so are you sure as to what was in those enclosures on that date yourself, did you visit the rhinos yourself that date to be sure?

Three is not old enough to breed as you correctly say; for your information female black rhinos reach sexual maturity around five years of age, as usual the males take longer to develop and are mature about seven.

The ID boards were removed before the 31st March as they weren't there when I visited.
Well I was sure that I saw signs still up when I last visted, but I stand corrected that they weren't up.

Also just a note they have moved the Rhinos since your visit, but I cannot remember which has moved where!
