We only saw one on our visit.Haven't the false gharials got an off show area as such, I have often been and not seen one or both of them

I saw a foot and could make out the shape of it.Sad about Football though.Football is dead. Are you sure it was a mantella, and not a stick insect as GentleLemur was mislead by that.
I swear that they were frog-shaped but we will check the photos later.Football is dead. Are you sure it was a mantella, and not a stick insect as GentleLemur was mislead by that.
Komodo has got the photo and I will see if he will upload it later. If we are wrong, then I hope @gentle lemur would be willing to share his humble pie recipe with us.I want to see this photo, however bad it is. Considering what's happened with gentle lemur I have my doubts it is a genuine mantella.
Napo was separate from Goshi today. She may have been hiding or she may have been off show.I'm not sure if she is pregnant though can anyone correct me on this if possible?
Saw Zuri's calf today,Kifaru is off show,Ema Elsa and Gabe are together and Magadi was on his own.
There was only one false gharial in Monsoon forest today,Don't know what happened
I'm not sure whether or not this is true since it came from a zoo volunteer but the zoo is hoping to develop a Madagascar themed area with some more Lemur species. Not sure what to think of this though.
I'm not to sure about the rhinos that were out except for Ema Elsa,Gabe,Zuri and her calf. There was rhino that was off show that could be viewed near the car park and one near the wetland aviary. Not 100% sure about it though.Doubt it re a jaguar pregnancy, last I heard Chester has been put on hold for breeding.
Are you sure? Magadi was offshow to breed with Malindi I believe. Kifaru definitely wasn't in the lone rhino house?
They sometimes hide at the bottom of the pool under the window so you can't actually see them. There are likely still two.
I believe this has been mentioned before on here and is no secret.
I'm quite sure they're not rotated on a daily basis, just once every couple of months for breeding purposes (e.g Zuri moving off-show to breed with Kifaru II)Any idea which rhinos i will see tomorrow or are they rotated on a daily basis ? When I went back in Jan/Feb, Ema Elsa & Gabe were in the rhino house everybody else were off show. Be nice to see some of them out if possible. Hope to explore the islands properly first thing & see the tigers, fingers x
Finally saw the blue legged mantellas.Only saw one and just it's leg in the pool,I took a photo but it was blurry so i don't think I will upload it
Seems to be conflicting posts about the Jaguars. I was told on site by a regular visitor over winter that they were given the all clear to breed and am sure the TV series suggested t too. Here's Hoping.
Upload nonetheless, I suggest!
Agreed. I, and a lot of other zoochatters, won't believe it till we see it.
Apologies for that, but there is now signage for the blue legged Mantella's up and did get a photo of that.Just to clarify for those who haven't seen the photo, the name of Mythical Mantella stands. A similar mistake to gentle lemur was made!
