Is there anywhere I could get earlier reports then the ones currently on the web page as I am really interested in the bird species they have kept at the collection over the years.

some old stock lists are on the forum somewhere

Where are the blue-legged mantella (supposedly :p) housed? I'm visiting next week and feel it necessary to join the ranks of people who haven't seen them!

To be exact, the north side. The left side depends on which way you face. :p

Now, I wonder if AdamD601 has jinxed us, and by going to the zoo with the intention of not seeing blue-legged mantellas, actually manages to spot one.

On my last visit I didn't even know that the blue-legged mantellas were so good at hiding. I don't think I saw any but I definitely remember seeing the blue stick insect.

Chester have uploaded a video of Napo and Goshi playing and interacting with each other. This could mean that the extra time they are spending with each could mean cubs are on the way.

How exciting! I don't think that the zoo has ever successfully bred jaguars before. I think they had a litter in 2005 but they didn't survive.

They also hold the following:

Mountain Chicken
Black-eyed Leaf Frog
Lake Patzcuaro Salamander
Ecuadorian Amazon
Blue-throated Macaw
Sumatran Laughingthrush
Javan Green Magpie
Rodrigues Fruit Bat
Jaguar
Black Rhinoceros
Banteng
Burmese Brow-antlered Deer
