Does anyone know the date of birth for Sumatran Orangutan sisters Emma and Subis, and the origins of their parents Oscar and Ramona? Thanks

Thanks! Do you know where Oscar and Ramona went after Puluh arrived to breed with Emma and Subis, and if either had any other offspring? Are they still around, or are they (presumably) deceased?
Oscar went to Liberec, Czech Republic, in 1997 and died in 1999. From what I can see, he had a son while there named Ziki, he moved to Lisbon from 2006-2015 (don't know if he has passed/been moved since then).
Ramona moved to Safari de Peaugres, France in Nov 1996 and passed away Mar 1997. From the looks of it, neither place currently holds Orangutans.
Info was found on 2015 studbook, it can be found on google if you would like to look.

Giraffe related question does anyone know what happened to aoife and Zahra the giraffes have they passed away or moved on

Great to see he's still going strong last time I saw him in May he was sat in the hammock in the last netted enclosure and started doing his incredible long call which was amazing because i hadn't seen him doing it in years
Aoifie has died (can't remember what year, since 2014). Zahra should still be there
A few questions as I’m visiting next week for the first time in a few years. Is tropical realm fully open again? Is the area where the former pedestrian entrance all closed off now? Finally where abouts are the Blesbok who are off show viewable from?

The majority of tropical Realm is open apart from the upper aviaries which are closed permanently because of a fire risk
The former pedestrian entrance near the old anteater/ kangaroo/ and the former yellow mongoose enclosure are now permanently offshow because the area was deemed unsafe according to bongorob
The blesbok are in the former banteng/bongo paddock near the red pandas but they're not really off show because there are massive gaps in the fence where the plants haven't grown in and the blesbok seem to be very friendly towards visitors because they come right up to the fence

I don't remember saying the kangaroo/anteater etc area was unsafe. I think its just an area that is surplus now. My apologies for misleading everyone if I did say it was unsafe.
Its nice to see blesbok back at Chester. Blesbok and Bontebok seem to follow a pattern. I furst saw Blesbok at Chester in 1967. In the 1980s they disappeared from the UK and Bontebok replaced them. I saw Bontebok for the first time at London in 1985. Now Bontebok have been replaced by Blesbok. However I like them both because I like Bovids.

When did Mollie arrive at the zoo? I know that Kanzi is Dagmar’s daughter, so is Mollie Orla or Tula’s daughter?

Dagmar the matriarch according to slotz born in 2007 she has had a total of 4 calves at Chester including
Kanzi born in 2012 to dagmar and thorn (currently at longleat )
Sanyu born In 2015 to dagmar and meru , Sanyu left in 2020 to another zoo not sure where
Dns- Born in 2017 but died after two days after struggling to feed
Mburo born in 2019

DOB - ?
She has had 5 calves at Chester
Millie born in 2013 at to orla and doto ( died in 2013 at Chester )
Kidepo - born in 2015 went to France in either 2018 or 2018

Zahra was born 2014 to Meru and Aoife, who was also mother to Tula. Aoife died in 2015. Zahra moved on to another collection when she was a few years old IIRC - not sure on exact reason but Chester’s house was pretty full by 2017ish with five adult cows, three young bulls plus Meru.
Mollie is Millie, daughter of Thorn and Orla in 2013. Still at Chester. Think this was a typo.

I thought kanzi was thorns last calf at Chester and I thought millie was sired by doto who died in January 2013
And most likely Zahra moved on incase she bred with meru
And should millie and kanzi start breeding now as they are now 9 years old and kanzi will be 10 in October
