Other than the zoo showing them on TV you mean? They must feel very strongly about keeping them secret...
It w as only a quick clip and no mention of what they were,well yes they aren't jumping up and down about having them but they are very unique and have NEVER been kept outside there native range before!!Just like the Antsangy!!
Presumably, then, this is the Grandidier's Vontsira that have been listed on Zootierliste since last year (discussed on the Chester Discussion/Speculation thread at the time, alongside the Antsangy)? It did strike me as quite pale for a Narrow-Striped Boky.

Which episode was it seen in? Was the Antsangy on the same one?

Yes I do but seeing as it came from a chat with a good friend who is directly involved in the moves,I am not prepared to say as the friendship and trust is worth more to me than,what it would cost me by posting it on here!
Very fair point, i`m sure we will all discover sooner than later and Easter is only a few weeks away so i`m sure all will be revealed in due course.
I was told by a friend that they were getting Indian rhinos, although they no longer work at the zoo they are still inolved in the zoo community. Have the plans changed and are they getting African rhinos?
Can confirm from a reliable source that they are African rhinos but that`s all I know
Twycross have confirmed Eastern Black Rhino will be moving in at Easter - details reported in the Twycross news thread:

Thanks, it was a while ago, just after the news that the elephants would move out, that we spoke so the plans must have changed, I don't really keep up to date on Twycross and have only visited once, last September, I believe and was a bit underwhelmed, although it was on the same trip that I was fortunate enough to go to Longleat so I suppose anywhere would be underwhelming after that!
Really ? What was so overwhelming about Longleat, other than the entrance fee?!
Getting up close to tigers, lions, cheetahs, wolves etc. I'll admit that the standard zoo walk through is a bit rundown but the actual safari was brill. The guide really knew his stuff and we got to stay out about 3 hours, the only disappointing bit was that the rhinos were confined to their own paddock instead of out and about due to a TB warning, also didn't see Anne but I don't like seeing lone elephants after seeing Kate at Blackpool.
Fair enough, I guess a keeper experience can give a false impression of how good the standard visitor experience might be!
It's the first safari park that I can actually remember visiting, I have childhood photos from a few others but unfortunately my memory doesn't stretch back to when I was that young, the guide did acknowledge how backed up traffic can get. We just thought that since we were travelling over 200 miles we might as well go all out.
