Chester Zoo Game

that was really hard!

What's funny with creating riddles is that they seem obvious to yourself, because you already know the answer, but it isn't until people start guessing that you really know whether they are easy or difficult.

My riddle:

It can't hop on only one foot.

This may not be the best way to put it but i'm thinking of the Dusky Pademelon because like all Macropods use both of their feet to hop about.

It wouldn't happen to be a species of coral? It can't hop at all due to being immobile unless releasing polyps.

Freshwater Snail? Like the partula it only has one foot.
is "Freshwater Snail" supposed to signify a particular species?

I'll give some advice on reading riddles - take note of everything in the riddle, don't just take one or two words and then blindly guess. For example, say the answer was Partula Snail or Freshwater Snail - how does that relate to hopping? A snail only has one foot, but why would the riddle have not said "it can't fly with only one foot" or "it doesn't eat sausages with only one foot"?

Frilled Upside Down Jellyfish perhaps? It is a simple organism that floats around and is incapable of hoping due to having no feet.

nope, afraid not.

(For anyone wondering how to find invertebrates when they aren't on Zootierliste, there's a partial list in the Chester Zoo subforum on Zoochat which is where I got my animal from)
