Did it look like this (considering they look unusual and are recent arrivals so I'm putting two and two together...)?

Photography of the aye-ayes will be impossible I think.

I'll take that as a challenge

Edit: I have just checked out the video again and I think it was taken with infra-red. So ordinary photography is going to be a real challenge![]()
Unless they're issuing everyone with night-vision goggles on entry, I'm hoping that there will be at least some light in the area, however dim.![]()
Anyone know yet whether there will be any 'lights on', or 'twilight', period during public opening hours (as at Bristol, for example)?

Yellow faced mynah - (Mino dumontii)This species is also known as Orange faced grackle, Papuan mynah or Long tailed mynah.
Breeding from – Jan to Apr or Aug to Sept,
This is a forest dwelling bird living in Rain/swamp and monsoon forests.
Not threatened and over populated in New Guinea with this species turning up regular in the trade
I went for a look yesterday and the lighting was not too bad, the only problems were caused by people who barged straight in without allowing their sight to get used to the low lighting level, despite signs telling them to do so before you enter the bit where the enclosure is.
I spent ages looking for the male in his encluosure wiithout sucess, so I moved to the female enclosure, and to my surprise they were together.
I don't think there will be a lights on period wwhile the zoo is open.
