Chester Zoo Chester Zoo News 2022

I am guessing the cattle house indoors is now permanently closed off to the public. It was closed off when I visited last September.

I get that it's an old building but it isn't the oldest in the zoo last I heard the oldest building in the zoo is the old kangaroo house

I have a few questions: we’re are agoutis and black and white ruffed lemur. the zoo apparently has Scottish wildcats a secretary bird and small Indian moongoose on ztl is this true if so we’re are they??? It also say on ztl that there 2 male and 1 female Philippine spotted deer no baby tho? And also ztl says the zoo has a male southern and female paraguayan tamandua are they going to breed them ???

The agouti have the outdoor sloth enclosure the zoo don't have black and white ruffed Lemur anymore they have white belted ruffed Lemur which is a separate species they have the old black and white ruffed Lemur opposite the cheetah yurt

Scottish wildcats are offshow because they're part of a release project
The Indian mongoose are offshow but they will be moved onshow soon by the lions
Secretary bird also offshow as part of the grasslands developing
After visiting last I saw one male and two female deer as the youngster born late last year as been sexed as a female and the tamanuda are also offshow they will hopefully be mixed with the tamarins and Marmosets in miniature monkeys

Most likely assuming because it would be quite natural ad they live in similar areas in the wild and with the pelicans I must of been seeing things
