The blesbok moved offshow back in September the anoa in that paddock is the male

Now that you mention it, it looks like a similar design.

Seems unlikely that Chester would acquire African pangolins. If they were to bring pangolins into the collection (which would be amazing), wouldn't another population of Chinese pangolin in Europe be a better move?

Before we descend into total speculation, let's accept that the closest we're likely to get to a pangolin exhibit is a board highlighting the zoo's excellent in-situ conservation research in Uganda.

I do like to be a speculator usually but I agree, unless they were in a tropical house like enclosure, pangolins are too precious to risk it and would Chester want to take that risk? I don’t think so

I don't know if pangolins are coming to Chester or not, all I know is that one is on the banner.

I expect that also applies to all other animal departments, but we seldom get to hear about anything other than mammals in the media.

The rearing of two Javan Green Magpies by a pair which were both hand-reared is a great achievement I think.
