Yes, the spiny mice are to the right of the grass miceNice to see these come back! Are the spiny mice still in there too? That was what was present on my last visit in September.

Where is the tamandua enclosure?Yes they are in the enclosure they've been in since the start of the year the grass mice are in the enclosure that most recently displayed a bat wing bone
Other updates I noticed today were
The tamandua enclosure looks almost finished viewing windows have been installed
The painted dogs were putting on a great show in the old cheetah enclosure and an unfortunate magpie met his end in there
The old malayan tapir enclosure has been turned into a picnic area which I find annoying
Also putting on a great show today was napo the jaguar
And also a red panda is on display in the last netted enclosure before you exit Realm of the Red ape
Hopefully the tamandua will go on display in the next few months then.Yes they are in the enclosure they've been in since the start of the year the grass mice are in the enclosure that most recently displayed a bat wing bone

The last time I was in the cattle house was February 2020Hopefully the tamandua will go on display in the next few months then.
I'm not really surprised that the old Malayan Tapir enclosure got turned into a picnic area, that enclosure hasn't had anything more than temporary inhabitants in a while and that building is going to be demolished eventually anyway. Is the house open to the public yet? I swear it has been closed off since the pandemic.
Quick update I'm here now and the first change I've noticed is that barbery striped grass mouse are onshow in fruit bat forest
A happy return!
If the zoo holds Lemiscomys barbarus it is a new species. The previous striped mice were L.striatus and L.zebra.
Wernt those striped mice in the okapi House if I remember correctly
It sounds like Tuan is off show again, if there's a red panda in that section of ROTRA.Yes they are in the enclosure they've been in since the start of the year the grass mice are in the enclosure that most recently displayed a bat wing bone

AFAIK the magpies in DiD were offspring of the breeding pair off-show, I wonder if they have moved to another collection. Did you go into the walkthrough aviary in Islands? It's possible they have moved back to their original enclosure where the Sumatran laughingthrush were.Another update I forgot to mention from today is that the javan green magpies weren't onshow in dragons in danger and the signage had been removed aswell so I don't know what's happened to them I don't know if they've moved back to islands or moved offshow
And the sunbitterns are no longer free flying in tropical Realm and are now living with the white winged duck
Is Tuan not in the offshow area near the entrance to ROTRA with what used to be the old enclosure? It sounds like Tuan is off show again, if there's a red panda in that section of ROTRA.
I realised that I might be wrong after posting. I should have checkedIf the zoo holds Lemiscomys barbarus it is a new species. The previous striped mice were L.striatus and L.zebra.
