The only way you can see the Pudu is if you walk inside the Jaguar coffee house and there is 1 viewing window into the Pudu paddock. They are located next to the Spirit of the Jaguar north paddock.

Correct me if I'm wrong the proposed move of the Old South Lakes Jaguars. Is this Remi and Bonita ? Last I heard of these was 2025 and was not sure where they went after the zoo closed.

Yes the Jaguars in question are Remi and his mother, Bonita.

Thank you for confirming that Jambo. So Proposed stud book recommendation would Be Remi x Inca as potential breeding pair. And maybe Napo and Bonita as companion (non breeding pair) or is Bonita still of breeding age if another Male is brought in.
Bonita is 16 years old now, so too old to breed.
I am not sure there is any potential breeding recommendation for Inka due to her lineage/genes. Also, she appears to be aggressive to Napo and they have not been mixed and this maybe a problem with other possible 'mates'. I believe they could keep 4 separate jags in the setup at present.

Chester taking on Bonita and Remi would be ideal, they were always a big highlight whenever I visited South Lakes and it would be great to see them again. If mixing with Napo and Inka would be an issue, perhaps they could be kept separate and live in the Savannah themed section where the bush dogs recently were, I'm not sure if anything has gone in there since or if it's still empty?

Thats my thoughts. I was understanding the idea was to Pair Remi and Inca as a potential breeding Pair and then a Companion ( non - breeding pair).

Great news - it's initially what I suspected, but there was some conflicting information mentioned on here about it instead being one of her brothers. It would have made more sense to transfer her across, as her brothers could cohabit together for a much longer period.
Anyhow, it remains to be foreseen which male she will be paired. Previous reports detail a female coming from Germany - so perhaps it's been confused, and the male instead is coming from there. One particular male, Jadoo (born 2023) at Nurnberg was supposed to move facilitates, but hasn't as of yet.
Also suspected Leia had birthed the recent offspring following a visitor announcement earlier in this thread. The infant was born October 7, and is Leia's second offspring at Chester, following Dot's birth back in 2020.
This birth should now give Chester eight Borneans; Tuan, Willie, Sarikei, Leia, Tombol, Dot, Myrtle and this young infant.
This is actually the third offspring 'Leia' has had at Chester - she had a daughter sired by 'Tuan' in May 2009 named 'Latifah', who passed away in 2014.
