They were kept somewhere around there yes. It was better when the waterbus was still a thing.

Does anyone actually know what will be housed in the old spotted deer enclosure? I'm guessing some kind of asian ungulate.

As far as I know, nothing is going in there.

Yes, they can sometimes be seen from the canal bank.
