INTERNATIONAL BREEDING PROGRAMME CO-ORDINATION

Within international Taxon Advisory Groups, Chester Zoo manages 11 important studbooks
across Europe for breeding rare or otherwise significant species. This includes prime
responsibility for: four international European Endangered Species Programmes (EEPs), two
national BIAZA Joint Management of Species programmes (JMSPs), five European
Studbooks (ESBs).

Three of those species are no longer at Chester, and they may also be going out of Blue-eyed Cockatoos. I wonder if the zoo intends to pass their co-ordination over to someone still kepping the animals.

Are the three species, Talapoins, Sail fins and palm cockatoos?

Shouldn't chester have something like that for the sunbeam snake. They had the first world birth didn't they?

Yes, though Andy Woolham says they will not be getting any more Palm Cockatoos, they are not well suited tothe UK climate.

Chester may have bred the Sunbeam Snake for the first time in the world, if a report of a breeding in Thailand is untrue. Some of the Sunbeam Snakes went to Cotswold.
