Thank you and your friend for the answer.

Over the course of today and yesterday, I have been to Chimelong Safari Park. Here are some highlights and rare species that are rare in terms of Chinese zoo standards:

1. Northern Koala
2. Red Ruffed Lemur
3. Spix's Night Monkey
4. Black Tufted Marmoset
5. Golden-Headed Lion Tamarin
6. Proboscis Monkey
7. Rock Hyrax
8. Pygmy Hippopotamus
9. Gemsbok
10. Common Waterbuck
11. Hainan Eld's Deer
12. Giant Anteater
13. Black-Casqued Hornbill
14. Oriental Pied Hornbill
15. Papuan Hornbill
16. Black Curassow
17. Violet Turaco
18. Victoria Crowned Pigeon
19. Turqoise Fronted Amazon
20. Salmon Crested Cockatoo
21. Yellow Billed Stork
22. Marabou Stork
23. Black Necked Swan
24. European Herring Gull
25. Chinese Crocodile Lizard
26. Komodo Dragon
27. Keeled Rat Snake

Overall, Chimelong Safari Park is one of China's better zoos when it comes to rarities and good exhibits. For example, I really liked the flight cage that the Papuan and Great hornbills were housed in and the monkey exhibits, which were a breath of fresh air from the typical monkey cages you'd find often in regular Chinese zoos.

If you are lucky, you can see toque macaque cubs in the animal kindergarten.

Chimelong Safari Park recently announced that it currently has 85 koalas. The koalas have reproduced from the first generation to the eighth generation, and all eight generations of koalas are living in the park simultaneously. The oldest koala is already 20 years old.

This oldest koala at Chimelong passed away due to natural aging at 2:00 PM yesterday, at the age of 21.

This is going to sound unrelated, but does Chimelong have any plans to import other iconic Australian fauna such as wombats, brushtail possums, or echidnas? While holding a cumulative number of 85 koalas does sound concerning, it shows that the capacity of the koala population could reach a high number with enough dedication and resources. It would be nice to see other Australian species reach this potential as well (albeit they would also be given to other Chinese zoos for the people as well)

From what I recall, Chimelong introduced echidnas and displayed them briefly before removing them from exhibition. Many species at Chimelong are not on public display, so it’s hard to say exactly what species they actually have.
