Wise words because as we all know children always think about outcomes of their actions. Get real my friend he's a child who has been involved in a traumatic experience. Yes it's a sad outcome. But let's not go on a witch hunt.

I don't think dean was going on a "witch hunt". I think he was just saying he hopes the child learns from his mistake, not that any sort of blame should be placed on him.

As for the enclosure itself, the zoo had already announced plans to redo the enclosure long before this happened. If I remember correctly the plans are/were to fill in the moat and add glass viewing. At the very least, it seems accidents like this will not be possible at the zoo in the future.

Thanks Thylo, my post did say at some future date the child may reflect the result of his actions , not as a four year old.
