Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden Cincinnati Zoo News 2017

Few changes... so far

In Wings of the World, a Helmeted Curassow is now in the outdoor cage. The Wetlands exhibit is now empty with the exception of the everlasting cooter. The pygmy falcons have been moved to the largest dark tank - removing the Gouldian finches and with the former falcon tank still empty.

As for footage, I have videos of Schottzie's bath, and my first look at Kendi, the baby rhino.

Has anyone visited Night Hunters recently to know what went in Yala's old exhibit?

In the World of the Insect butterfly aviary, the spangled citinga died but 2 new birds are in there. Speckled pigeons, and a Tambourine dove.

Yes, now they have 2 species in there. I don't mind, I liked how they had 3 in the Nocturnal House. I also noticed that another genet was added, most likely from Jungle Trails.

Are you taking about the one in the former tayra exhibit? I saw it last month as well. It was neat to see both species of it.

When finishing my night hunters video ("post production") I was very close to mentioning that the bat eared foxes could no longer be found in the zoo. Luckily, I passed through the children's Zoo and they are now displayed in the first nursery exhibit, a building now known as the Aninal Ambassador Center.

As I was exiting the zoo, I heard an employee asking survey questions to guests discussing the quality of Wildlife Canyon. It would be nice if that was the next area to renovate after Elephant Reserve.
