Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden Cincinnati Zoo News 2025

Not sure what that member was doing wrong but re-entry is allowed on both tickets and memberships especially with memberships you can use it as many times a day as you need to get into the zoo. For tickets you just get a stamp on your hand when you leave from that last time I was there.

Here is the link to all the visitor information about the zoo including the re-entry policy which is allowed: Plan Your Adventure | Cincinnati Zoo
Okay that is what Toledo does, thank you.

Cincinnati Zoo updates

Today was the first day that the zoo’s two new Kangaroos Melbourne “Mel” and Tex made their debut.
They arrived from the Gladys Porter Zoo and they are only letting in one group at a time while they acclimate to the exhibit.

The Gibbon islands pathway is open but they appear to be empty.

The Night Hunters lights have been changed from blue to red.
Both Clouded Leopards were active in night hunters, the one in the first exhibit was pacing quite a bit.

Gibbons and otters were inside at the Elephant trek. The rain probably was a big factor in that.

Both exhibits in the elephant reserve were both quite overgrown and it appears the black rhino hasn’t been out much in the one.

Also the Asian small clawed otters are off exhibit due to them having babies and the gibbons are too shy and barely go outside

And both black rhinos have left one has gone to Chicago and the other one to kansas according to a zoo member that's on the zoo member page

If the zoo member page is confidential, then why did you share the information in the first place?
It's not confidential in the sense that everything shared is a secret. It's a page that people share information they gained at the zoo much like we do here - mostly information gained from a keeper shared to someone of the general public. This particular page just happens to be exclusive to members of the zoo only.

1.0 Utenzi (Faru) was transferred to Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo almost 3 years ago now. 1.0 Black Rhino "Ajani Joe" was transferred to another AZA facility last month, not in Chicago or even Illinois. 0.1 Zuri (Seiya) remains at Cincinnati for now.
Source is ZIMS/being a staff member at Lincoln Park Zoo

As a former member of the Cincinnati Zoo member HQ page, it is not always a reliable source of truthful information. Anyone on it can share speculation or "zoo gossip"
