Cities without a major Zoo?

Strasbourg - looks like the Zoo de L'orangerie was closed
Having attempted to visit myself last year, I can confirm this. There are plans to reopen it in the coming years if plans went through (they intended to have decided upon what its future was last September, but not sure if they have settled upon anything) - however, most of the plans I heard were very domestic-focused, barring a few native species.

I would defentivily call the Heimattierpark Olderdissen in Bielefeld a Zoo. It is larger then some smaller zoos. It only has native species, but still some larger species like brownbears, euopean bisons, boar, deer, birds of pray, water birds, lynx, Chamois and ibex.

And you should also not put it on the list, since Bielefeld does infact still not exist

Also Enschede in the netherlands, also has no Zoo

If you think that the Heimattierpark Olderdissen deserves the claim "major zoo", then - fair enough - I should delete it from the list (I must confess that I also did not list Innsbruck, although it shows also only native fauna).
But what do you mean with "Bielefeld does in fact still not exist"???

AUSTRIA:
Graz - Turtle Island - probably the biggest collection of Testudines in the World
While Turtle Island is registered as a zoo according to the Austrian Zoo-Verordnung, their current limited accessibility has caused many a local and international zoo fan like @remar to despair - to the point of questioning the extent to which a facility that is barely open to the public can actually be considered a zoo. Which might explain that many local Graz inhabitants act as if there wasn't a zoo in their city. Let alone a MAJOR one...

You are clearly part of the conspiracy, trying to convince us Bielefeld is a real place.

A loaf of bread on the television was just trying to convince me that it's the most boring city in the world, and that even spending a single night there makes you feel dull, tired and clumsy :D Bernd is obviously high up in the conspiracy!

In the grand scheme of things, Boston isn’t that big a city, but it is the designated “big city” of Massachusetts.

It has a major aquarium (New England Aquarium) but not a major zoo, as Franklin Park Zoo, for as much nostalgia as I have for it, is nothing special in the grand zoological world.

Furthermore Turtle Island has four different locations. One of this locations isn't even at Graz. ZTL however lumps this four locations within one entry, which makes absolutely no sense. You could only visit one of this four locations, and this one only at very few days.

It would be similar to say that Zoo and TP Berlin are one zoo.
