Thanks for the species list. It looks like there are no invertebrates at all in the rain forest exhibit? That's a real shame and lost opportunity for interpretation of the most prominent part of rainforest animal biodiversity!

There should still be White Storks in the African Savanna, unless they all got transferred in the past month?
Wow, I never realized the aviary in AEC has lost so many species!

Thanks for the species update. Nothing terrestrial on the stormy island anymore huh? I think the last time I was there (this was a few years ago) they had porcupines and deer I believe. The water around it just had gouramis if I remember correctly, the last pangasius catfish was gone by that point, nice to hear they have them again.

The Porcupines just left last month. I don't remember when the mouse deer left, but they've been gone since 2022 at the least

When I visited in May, there was also a sign for Red-billed Blue Magpie in the wolf cabin aviary and a sign for Goeldi's Marmoset in the rainforest entrance. I did not see either but can confirm the two young male marmosets were taken off-exhibit, for habitat repairs I believe. The Australian walkthrough aviary was closed but there were signs for Crested Pigeon and Budgerigar. Are these permanently gone?

The marmosets may have left due to the upcoming renovations. I believe the Budgideer aviary is down for good.
