Australia is a relic of a bygone age. It's a shame because I think the design is phenomenal and charming in a nostalgic way you don't see on the same scale anymore. It'd be nice if they did a Disney-esque farewell - restore it to its original luster - but it's been piecemealed away for years. I'll be curious to see what they do with the land in the future.

Agreed Australia definitely needs a major refresh, but like you said it’s going to years before it happens, as I think after Primate Forest and the rest of the Rainforest expansion is finished, they are probably going to turn their attention to PCA, the North American bears, and some stuff in African Savannah before they pay any attention to Australia

• Stillwater Place
• Seasonal events.

Primate, Cat and Aquatics -

• Outdoor exhibit renovations
• Treetop cafe renovations
• Aldabras being moved off the hill
• Cheetah expansion (Upcoming).

The only things that I can see staying if they do fix that area, are the Gumleaf Hideout exhibits (with some slight changes), the walkthrough aviary, and the new Kanagroo barn

I can also see the Wallaby Walkabout staying, possible with minor changes but overall, it is one of the main exhibits of the area so I can't see them getting rid of it.

Not wrong, now that I think of it the first half with the walkabout and Gumleaf hideout is fine

The second half with all the farm animals is very underwhelming, and I don’t even think most people know about the Dingos, and other animals past the petting zoo

I can see the zoo getting rid of the sea lion exhibit after they all pass on, and use the land to expand the bear area

Talked to an employee about some of the upcoming projects today. When the cheetahs will be renovated is unknown at the moment, everything is focused on Primate Forest, understandably. Aldabras will continue living on the hill for the time being until they're ready to move to PF.

Cleveland has confirmed the next long overdue exhibits to change are the American bears. Seal and sea lions will be relocated. Changes are expected to happen next year.
