Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in Florida
Ocean World in Fort Lauderdale, FL

And I don't believe that Biodome de Montreal ever had a cetacean exhibit. It was in the original plans. However they did attempt to rehabilitate a young beluga? But I don't believe it was ever on exhibit.

The closest I could find to finding about the Biodome having a dolphinarium was the building's use for a dolphinarium for Expo '67.

Aquamarine Fukoshima is an Aquarium, not a dolphinarium, they never kept any dolphins in their history of only 12 years, and it isn't closed, it was damaged through the Tsunami, but it has reopend in July 2011.

And Hassloch is not a Tierpark, it is a Themepark with Shows and rollercoasters.

That was at the Alcan Aquarium, not the Biodome.

But the original plan for the large Hudson Bay pool built in the Biodome was to exhibit belugas. Never happened, so now a relatively non-descript collection of fish and seabirds lives in the impressive space.

Thanks! I forgot about the New Zealand one (opps) and as for Fukushima, I swear it used to have some (my bad).

As for Hassloch, there was an animal park part of the theme park as far as i know

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I am looking for any parks (even if they are still open now) had at some point any cetacean species (Belugas, Dolphins etc)

Other names I have:

Sædraysafnid Aquarium in Iceland
Cornish Seal Sanctuary in United Kingdom
ZooQuarium (Aqua Circus of Cape Cod) in United States
Zoo Negara Malaysia in Malaysia
World's of Fun in United States
Walt Disney World Co in United States

Yes Dudley Zoo is still open and the old dolphinarium is now the sea lion pool. As for Magicland, I thought it was closed but seemed to be still open, thanks for noticing. When you are dealing with over 300 parks some parks do get put in the wrong "group" so sorry for any errors.

Scarbrough Zoo and Marine land, had Dolphins and a killer whale at one point, remeber seeing them there back in late 60,s and 70,s as used to spend summer holidays there living with my grand parents

The 'Marine World' you refer to in the United States was actually 'Marine World/Africa USA,' and was based right on the border of Redwood City and the town of Belmont, both on the San Francisco Peninsula.

You are correct in saying the original park closed. The site was cleared, and is now home to the terminally ugly 'Oracle Towers,' the corporate headquarters of Oracle Corp. (thank you for nothing, Larry Ellison).

What you may be missing is the ending to the story. The park actually relocated to Vallejo, California around 1992. It survived on its own for a bit more than a decade, then was (sadly) taken over by the Six Flags group (I can't help but think of them as 'Sick Flags').

The changes were not pleasant. Within two years after the takeover, the park had mutated into a bizarre combination of thrill-rides and animal shows. Within five years after the takeover, all of the original core staff had left, voluntarily or otherwise.

Financially successful? Maybe. Maintaining the spirit and core of what made the old Marine World special? Epic fail!

So -- If you're picky about your list being 100% correct, Marine World (or the memory of it) still exists, in a horrible parody of what it once was.

Personally, the old park ceased to exist for me the moment the takeover papers were signed.

Happy travels.

I am fully aware Six Flags Discovery Kingdom took over and is now home to Shouka Stadium and the transfer from Redwood to Vallejo on October 20, 1985 (well thats when Vigga and Yaka moved - source).

I am listing ALL the companies who did own cetaceans. Regardless if they have now been taken over etc. I have already a huge list of currently operational parks (PicNet Table Filter Demo)

^ This is what i am trying to build up for Closed (Inactive) companies / parks.

As for Scarborough, this is the first time anyone has mentioned an orca there. There was one at Flamingo Park and Dudley Zoo (same orca), Cleethorpes, Clacton Dolphinarium and Windsor Safari Park. Do you have any more information on the Scarborough Orca?

Sarmiento Park (Parque Sarmiento) in Argentina used to have a dolphin show. The animals came from Russia, and most of them died within a few months of arrival. After one year and some months, the show closed with just one dolphin, who was later sent to Colombia. Nowadays, the park has became in a public park where people can play sports and go to the swimming pools. The pool where the dolphins used to live is the only one that it's indoors, and it has been closed since then.

To add to your list, 2 other facilities that kept cetaceans that no longer keep them include Oakland Zoo, they had Bottlenose dolphins in what is now the North american river otter exhibit and Milwaukee County Zoo and they had Amazon river dolphins and Bottlenose dolphins

The still up-and-running Minnesota Zoo used to have dolphins, but they got sent away to other aquariums a few years back. The tank is still there; I think they plan on using it for some other kind of animal. (I've heard Hawaiian monk seals)

Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia had dolphins in the 1960's or early 1970's
