SeaWorld San Diego Coastal Commission may approve new orca exhibit

The article says 5.2 million gallons while in the past, others have mentioned 10 million gallons.

As with all future exhibits, unfortunately, the plans did change. Thankfully, all the enrichment features are still there, and a new one was added. An aquarium with fish and kelp for visual stimulation. The kelp will also be harvested occasionally to be used as a form of stimulation.

I hope they do approve it, its almost as if, no wait, peta probably is trying to sabotage any attempt by SeaWorld to improve their exhibits.

5.2 million gallons is still quite an expansion in my view.

I guess. It's smaller than Ocean Voyager in volume. Then again, Seaworld has eleven Orcas as of right now. It's an improvement, but imagine Voyager with eleven Orcas. That's with an extra million gallons. Yikes.
