Cobras in UK zoos?

how councils want anti-venom stored?
Unless they have significant numbers of local medically relevant venomous species, they'd prefer to need none.
I also wonder if anti-venom has a long shelf life?
Depending on the product, not really.
I would’ve thought that private collections would have to have the correct anti-venom?
Depending on the country, you would have thought incorrectly...

Does the Liverpool School.of Tropical.Medicine have any Cobras?

I guessed that the lack of venomous snakes.was.linked to the cost of anti-venom. Not a surprise if it is because of legislation.

ZSL had a really iconic venomous collection just 10 years ago- Black Mamba, King Cobra, Fierce Snake and RattleSnake.

Chester in the 80's was good with Indian Cobra, Green Mambas and Rattlesnakes. Back in the day when they had both sides of the vivs open. With the False Gharial, Retic and Komodos a.big King would fit in nicely with their large reptiles.

Shame this country doesn’t have a decent herp zoo. Looking at zootierliste the collection in this country is very pitiful, compared to the rest of Europe, if you are a herp fan as I am, Austria, Germany and France seems amazing.

London Zoo also had the Diamondback Rattlesnake, Sidewinders, Puff Adders, the beautiful Mangrove Snake and false water cobra. The Black Mamba was iconic and is sorely missed by me, as is the Fierce Snakes that could kill me in 10 minutes.
