Shame that the current Buffy headed Capuchin enclosure will be an "Off show" enclosure.
Indeed, especially as the jackals are semi-offshow purely because there are no onshow enclosures spare at the moment...

That is an area of the zoo i hope they ear-mark for improvement over the next few years as it is such wasted space.
where are the Buffy headed Capuchin located at the moment??
Originally they were going to create a new walkthrough enclosure once the bears moved into there new home, wonder why the change?
Will we be able to see the bears between jan-easter???
The Buffy headed Capuchins are located down near area located near the Sea-lions. In the old Bear enclosures.
I think it was either they didn't get planning permission or the cost of the project was too much in a recession.
From what i gather from the website they will be on-show but will ask when i next visit the zoo.
ahh yes , they could def do with a facelift,
Will be interesting to see after they have expanded the chimpanzees exhibit what the next big project will be. Most of the zoo now is newish and not much needs replacing really. Also not much space for any new developments.

The dragons were the same on Sunday - I have a video of Telu which I can upload once I put it on the computer if anyone wants to see just how active they were - he couldn't sit still! Does anyone know if they had plans to hatch more than the current two?
Pipaluk - did you see the hunting dogs outside? I'd like someone to confirm what I posted earlier, or tell me I'm being optimistic! Also, any saki update?
