Thank you for finding this information. While it definitely isn't certain, I think they could well be the same animals, unless of course Colchester were successful at breeding zorillas (not that I have found any information that suggests this ever happened).

Earlier today, whilst perusing the ZSL Daily Occurences book for 1976 (and looking for something completely unrelated) I noticed, quite by chance, that on 23rd June 1976, London Zoo sold a pair of pig-tailed macaques to Colchester Zoo.

I thought it worthwhile to mention this here as I don't think @DesertRhino150 has listed pig-tailed macaques as being exhibited at Colchester Zoo.

Thank you for the extra information about the pig-tailed macaques. I did notice that tropicbirder had listed pig-tailed macaque as a species seen at Colchester in around 1983, but this came after I had made the monkey post.

I assume these were Southern pig-tailed macaques?
