At one point in the Secrets of the Zoo show a baby snow leopard was backstage for the Jack Hannah show. I wondered how they had a baby as the zoo has none. This would explain it though.

Realistically, where could he go?Kulu, the zoo's young male Polar Bear will be moving to unnamed accredited zoo soon: Columbus Zoo polar bear Kulu moving to new home this fall | 10tv.com
Most likely Lee from Louisville who’s had success with one of the girls in the past. Maybe Kalluk from San Diego though. The article also states that the move will allow Columbus to receive another breeding male, I wonder who that could be?
I'm assuming Louisville never got permission to breed Qannik after saying at the start of breeding season this year that they haven't even been introduced, what a shameMost likely Lee from Louisville who’s had success with one of the girls in the past. Maybe Kalluk from San Diego though.

The zoo just officially announced the arrival of female moose calf “Strawberry” on October 12th from Alaska Zoo: Orphaned Moose Calf Welcomed Into Her New Home at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium1.0 Moose has arrived from Alaska Zoo. The male was part of a relocation of two orphaned bulls with the other moose going to NEW Zoo. From Alaska Zoo's social media:
"Yesterday was relocation day for two of the zoo’s orphaned moose of the season! With two adult bulls as residents, we can’t house additional moose permanently at this time. We work with Alaska Fish and Game to line up permanent homes at other facilities. We are happy to report that moose “Strawberry” arrived safely at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and “Taco” arrived safely at the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park in Wisconsin. Our staff is experienced at making safe crates, arranging air transportation and preparing the animals properly for their trip. We will miss them but we are happy they made it safely to their new homes! Photos by John Gomes."

Columbus Zoo Update
A couple updates from the zoo:
Greater Malayan Chevrotain and Burmese Mountain Tortoise have been added to the Bat exhibit in Asia Quest and the Magpie Geese have left.
The new indoor orangutan area is complete, it just has not opened to the public. The exterior looks very nice and from the views I could get of the indoor area it looks nice as well and has lots of climbing opportunities.
A sign on their exhibit said they just arrived so I guess the zoo just forgot to take it down. The chevrotain and tortoises were in that exhibit when I visited a year ago.
