I noticed no general thread is available for Whipsnade Zoo. So, I thought it be nice to have a current thread on new births, transfers and new developments and projects at Whipsnade.

For starters: any new projects for Whipsnade in 2009?

How are the new cheetah doing? Any news on breeding the NE Africans? More coming to Europe or UK then ....?

Are they planning to get more Gaur? Or is the availiable stock too thin?

According to Chester there are still plans to swap two of their males for Females at whipsnade.
