Common Zoo Species You Haven't Seen

I've never seen a Giant Pacific Octopus. I'm in Australia, so we have a lot of animals that are rare elsewhere and few that are common elsewhere. For example, with octopuses, almost all aquariums here that keep octopuses have the Gloomy Octopus, but never the Common or Giant Pacific.

Common animals I never seen before?

Wildebeest
Hyenas
Kudus
Bongos
Takins
Indian and White rhinos
Giant panda
Asiatic black bear
Elephant seal
Any hartebeest
Dalls sheep

I don't think anyone would call Giant Panda, elephant seal, Asian Black Bear, or hartebeest common.

I have mentioned this before I think but I have terrible luck with armadillos, every time they have been a no-show for me no matter what. I will win the lottery before I see one :p

Now that I think about it, I've never seen an asian rhino species, grizzly bears, giant anteaters, or koalas.

I don’t think I ever saw a wolverine before. And while they are uncommon in the west they I never saw a wombat as well.

Asian black bears are pretty common in Asian zoos. I don't think they are rare in Europe either.
About 20 european zoos have this species. Quite uncommon. Never seen one

I've seen indian rhino, koala, giant anteater, 3 armadillo species (including babies of 2 species) and wolverine :)

You can add me to the list of people that have never seen koalas before. I've technically seen giant anteaters, but I was too young to remember it, so I don't count it as something I've seen.
