Nice to finally have a list a Tropical Encounters, great to know some of those rarities are still there. When did they get the hummingbird(s)?

Some additions/subtractions, with caveat that I have not visited in 2020:
-I don't think Tropical Encounters has Arapaima, Cotinga, or Hummingbird
-Tropical Encounters should have Matamata and Brown Anole. The stingrays should be a mix of Motoro and Leopoldi. Usually they also have additional catfishes (Red-tailed, Leiarius, Tiger and Lima Shovelnose), cichlids (Peacock Bass, Midas, Quetzal, Rainbow), and characins (Striped Headstander, Flagtail Prochilodus). Fish species tend to come and go from mixed exhibits though so perhaps they aren't around right now.
-The coral reef tank usually has featured lined seahorse plus perhaps a half dozen other fish species (clownfish, wrasse, cowfish, goby, convict blenny, cardinalfish) and a couple of inverts (shrimp, starfish, urchin, snail) at any one time.
-The conservatory has koi
-There is usually a small rodent (Cairo Spiny Mouse or Fat-tailed Gerbil) in the African hoofsto k barn.
-The empty yard in the Old Hoofstock exhibit is a shift yard for the bison.

Thanks for the fish additions. I wasn’t very sure on that one so it helps to know more species. I put the cotingas in there because @birdsandbats said he saw them, and there used to be signs for arapaima & ruby throated hummingbird, but I forgot to check so I’ll Change it later. The degus where phased out last year, but I could be wrong. The bison haven’t had acsess to that other yard in 2 years.I did know the conservatory had koi, but I was running out of time writing this so I had to stop.

I haven't been here for a while, is this a new exhibit?
Also, do you know when Its opening back up again?

@Dhole dude out of curiosity, how many of those bird species did you see in Tropical Encounters? When I visited a couple years ago I recall seeing signage for several species, but being very disappointed upon only seeing saffron finches and (if I remember correctly) a brief glimpse of a tanager. I certainly didn't see any bananaquit, cotinga, or ground dove.

Thanks for asking! I have seen Saffron finch, blue-grey tanager, sunbittern, blue dancis, red legged honeycreeper, & banannaquit.
