Reptiles and amphibians, you know, are normally kept in rows of glass-fronted tanks. Crocodiles have a pool, often with a view from above.

What unusual and cool reptile exhibits you know? Something more imaginative than a box with glass side.

I heard that Arizona-Sonora desert museum has a sort of aviary with a whole landscape for reptiles. What it is like?

I would say ASDM has the most creative reptile exhibits. Plus there wild lizards and rattlesnakes all over the place. In fact a small section of Life On The Rocks was closed off because a wild rattlesnake was being moved to another part of the park. At any given time there are 20-30 rattlesnakes inside the park, but they are only moved if they come onto visitor pathways.
There are probably pictures of some of the ASDM reptile exhibits in the gallery.
Also some exhibits have several reptiles and amphibians mixed, which makes things more interesting.

I do enjoy seeing larger exhibits for reps and especially amphibians. I think reps are a really good way to experiment a knew kind of exhibit.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo - African Spurred Thigh Tortoise - Lives in the same exhibit with the Giraffes and many birds. Usually stays in a more bushier area where the Giraffes can't get to.
