The Hemker bird is from Franklin Park

No. Look at the quotes below. So would this mean Hemker is the last holder on the continent?
A white-crowned hornbill is also kept at the Franklin Park Zoo.
I guess the zoo has an ambassador white-crowned hornbill! I'm always glad to learn about different holders for incredibly rare species like the hornbills.

The Gulf Breeze Zoo and the Dallas World Aquarium both have rufous hornbills.
Is it possible this is a recent import by DWA?I'd be curious to know where these came from, as these have suddenly appeared and I was previously unaware of the species being in NA.
Sylvan Heights has not had any hornbills on display recently. The old Wreathed enclosure no longer exists I think, and the Rhinoceros enclosure holds King Vulture; this was confirmed to still be the case recently.
I just visited Sylvan Heights Bird Park this past week and can confirm that they have Rhinoceros Hornbill, Abbyssinian Ground Hornbill, and Western Red-billed Hornbill. All 3 species were also present on my May 2023 visit. No King Vultures were present or even signed anywhere in the park on either visit.
NC Zoo hasn't had Trumpeter Hornbills on display in years since the African Pavilion originally closed down. If they are still present, they are definitely behind-the-scenes as their enclosure no longer exists.
