A Montadale Sheep was born on March 15th. Two more ewes are expecting, as well as a goat. A Great Blue Heron and other birds were also recently added to the aviary.

On March 3rd, 2019, it was reported that the zoo saved a 6-month-old Blanding's turtle on February 14th, after it was found unconscious in a tub used to rear hatchlings.
